I found out that I have an official follower now - my good "prend" Karla - so I feel like I need to write something in here. :) I have been trying to start this blog for such a long time, but it just never seems to kick in. Karla and Kim's blogs always make me so happy and I want to give something back. :)
This has been such a delightful week. I love fresh new semesters. It is always so exciting to begin new classes with new students and 'old' students who have decided to brave another one of my classes. All of my classes this week have been so much fun. My goal is to stay one week ahead on my planning so that every time I walk into the classroom I have a plan and all of my materials ready to go. My students are worth it. :)
This is a picture of my new college success class. They are really new students! This is their first time in college and they are like blank sheets of paper for me to fill with great ideas and goals for their college lives. I like to think that I am helping change their lives for the better! It is a great feeling! :)
